A refined gastronomic experience above Lake Balaton

Seasonal kitchen,
with a refined approach

Our menu is shaped by the seasonal produce of the Lake Balaton Highlands and the harvests from the estate's own kitchen garden. Alongside carefully selected local vegetables, fruits and herbs, vegetarian and vegan dishes feature throughout, and our youngest guests are welcomed with a dedicated children's menu.

Behind the Scenes

The people behind the flavours of Casa Christa

Toth Keve

Head Chef

Tóth Keve is the heart and soul of the Casa Christa kitchen. His cooking philosophy is rooted in place: the seasonal produce of the Lake Balaton Highlands, the estate's own kitchen garden and close collaboration with local farmers shape the menu. His dishes, born at the meeting point of Hungarian and French cuisine, are at once deeply local and transcendent. In 2025, his work was recognised with the Young Chef of the Year award at the Dining Guide Restaurant of the Year Gala.

The philosophy that ends up on the plate

The place dictates
01

The place dictates

The Casa Christa kitchen is shaped by the rhythm of the Lake Balaton Highlands. The estate's own garden, local producers and seasonal ingredients determine what ends up on the plate. That is why the menu is constantly evolving, always following whatever is at its very best.

Local ingredients, our own approach
02

Local ingredients, our own approach

The foundation of the Casa Christa kitchen is produce sourced from local farmers and our own estate. Every dish represents seasonality, quality and careful preparation, ensuring the character of each ingredient is preserved throughout.

Gastronomy takes centre stage

The essence of agriturismo is unity: estate, garden and restaurant come together into a single experience. Dinner is one of the defining moments of the day, where the place, the ingredients and the philosophy of the kitchen all meet in the same experience.
